Topic: Fenn's Treasure
The Fenn Treasure was a cache of gold and jewels that Forrest Fenn, an art dealer and author from Santa Fe, New Mexico, hid in the Rocky Mountains of the United States. It was found approximately a decade later in 2020 in Wyoming, by an anonymous treasure hunter later revealed to be former journalist and medical student Jack Stuef.
For the last episode of the season we continue the shocking story of Fenn’s Treasure and follow it to its unusual ending. We also hear stories of mechanised elephants, latrine midgets and polite camouflage while chatting about the monstrous creation of the Fed.
Struck with a shocking cancer diagnosis one man devised a bold plan to ensure he was immortalised and remembered. He hides a treasure chest in the wilderness filled with gold and publishes a treasure map in the form of a cryptic poem. However he doesn’t die and instead spends a decade guiding frenzied treasure hunters with a cult like feeling. Death, disaster and madness consume all those who seek the treasure and like all good adventure stories the thrill of the hunt becomes more valuable than the treasure.
