The Thousand Year Pygmy Wars were supposedly fought between 4-feet tall pygmy people and giant birds. According to the most ancient records from the Chinese, Scandinavians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and the Cherokee, we have an undeniable collective memory of an ancient, millennium long, and world-wide Pygmy war. The Pygmies were fractured, reduced to refugee status, and forced into exile.
It is easy to dismiss strange and obscure stories as myth, folklore or legend; however if you look closely enough sometimes you can find a grain of truth. We discuss the thousand year pygmy war and the modern archeological evidence to support it. We also explore the appearance of ancient megaliths throughout New Zealand and their association with giants.
